The main scientific objective of this mission was to map the location and abundance of lunar water. What is Lunar Water? Lunar Water is the water that is present on the moon’s surface.Liquid water can not be present at the moon’s surface because water is decomposed by sunlight,with hydrogen quickly lost to outer space.
